Sleep Shortage Linked to Type 2 Diabetes Risk

Not getting enough sleep can have repercussions far more severe than mental and physical fatigue. Recent research, for example, has linked inadequate sleep to obesity. Now, a new study suggests that people who regularly get less than 8 hours of z's a night may be at greater risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
