Seattle-based
Triple B Corp. has issued a recall of some raw salad products distributed throughout the Northwest, according to the US
Food and Drug Administration.
The recalled items could contain spinach contaminated with the E. coli bacterium.
Raw bagged spinach and bagged salads containing spinach supplied by California-based Natural Selections Foods have been linked to the nationwide E. coli outbreak that has sickened 173 people in 25 states.
A Wisconsin woman died after eating tainted spinach, and at least two other fatalities reportedly are under investigation. |
