Delicate Heart Surgery Saves Baby Given Zero Chance of Survival

Tiny Jerrick De Leon had zero chance of survival, doctors said, unless open-heart surgery could be performed on the newborn. The trouble was, the procedure had never before been accomplished on a baby Jerrick's size. Born 13 weeks early, his heart was the size of a small grape.
