A breast cancer treatment described as "revolutionary" could be available soon in Europe, according to a report in The Observer.
GlaxoSmithKline's Tykerb is more effective at slowing cancer growth than Roche's Herceptin, according to some accounts, and it can be taken in pill form rather than intravenously.
GSK reportedly will file for approval in the European Union this week. It has already filed for approval in the US. |
